864 times 5 W would be 4,320 W. The published input is 1,540 W, about 1.78 W average per emitter, and some of that is drivers and fans.

The two irradiance numbers are not one curve
179 mW/cm² at 8 inches on a solar meter is higher than 121.62 at 6 inches on a spectrometer. Stepping back cannot raise the true irradiance. Different instruments.

Depth claims disagree with the vendor’s own article
The product page puts 810 nm at 20–30 mm. Their wavelength article puts 810 nm near 10 mm and 660 nm near 5 mm. Quote both. Do not average them.

Iron is a poor heat spreader
The housing material is published as iron. illumiRED adds an 8 mm aluminum spreader behind the boards. That part is a design choice, not something found in a teardown.
